Ibis Hotel, Birmingham

Artelia Group contacted us to provide enhancements to the reception of the Ibis Hotel in central Birmingham. We provided a full design and specification to make aesthetic changes to the bar area. The existing dome roof structure was waterproofed prior to the installation of a bespoke conical light of concentric rings. Each ring was individually installed into the dome and hung from a sub-frame. Works to the plasterboard ceiling and feature halo lighting were required and a electrical board provided for dedicated supply to the concealed power packs and control systems for the feature lighting. All works were undertaken over the bar using specialist access.
