PepsiCo GSSI, Loughborough University

Working with Millbridge Consultants, Orbit Architects and Loughborough University, Sitec delivered the state of the art Gatorade Sports Science Institute which is dedicated to optimising athlete performance through research and education in hydration and nutrition science.

The facility is perched over the Powerbase Gym and provides not only a great focal point, but a facility where athletes from all over the World can take advantage of the monitoring and fitness assessment equipment as well as it being a research facility.

As the gym was open the during the contract period, it was challenging to keep the works separate in such a public space, but we assessed safeguarding daily to get the project over the line.
